The bridge spans approximately 30 kilometers across the Brunei Bay, making it a fully prefabricated bridge that has the most spans in the world and a pioneering feat in movable construction platform technology. CSCEC is responsible for the approximately 11.8-kilometer section, consisting of upper and lower lanes, totaling over 1990 spans. This landmark project drastically shortens the travel time between Muara District and Temburong District, reducing it from 2 hours to about 15 minutes. The bridge's opening significantly impacts the socio-economic development of Temburong and holds great importance for Brunei as a whole. The once-isolated, beautiful eco-city of Temburong is no longer a distant enclave from the mainland.
