Theproject is one of Thailand's major civic projects. The new terminal has a total floor area of 216,000 square meters, including D Hall, the south corridor, and the new terminal (levels 2-4). It features a symmetric distribution of 28 parking spots for planes on both sides and can increase the annual passenger flow from 45 million to 60 million. This expansion effectively alleviates the pressure on the old terminal due to the mass passenger flow and contributes to the development of Thailand's tourism industry.
