CSCEC actively promotes partnerships with Malaysian universities to foster talent development and academic exchange. The company has established close cooperation with institutions such as the University of Malaya, Xiamen University Malaysia, Tunku Abdul Rahman University of Management and Technology, Management and Science University, Sultan Azlan Shah University, City University Malaysia, and Weiyang College of Tsinghua University. These collaborations enhance university–industry connectivity, build a robust talent pipeline for the company, and provide students with valuable platforms for career growth. As of June 7, 2024, CSCEC had carried out 32 university–industry exchange activities.

In addition, CSCEC continues to advance the Up We Build program, engaging actively with Malaysian universities to jointly establish educational exchange platforms such as the UWB College, Zheng He College, and the China–Malaysia Construction Vocational and Technical Education Development Center. These initiatives foster friendship and cultural exchange between students of both countries while paving the way for their future careers and supporting high-quality education in Malaysia's construction sector. For instance, CSCEC has been invited multiple times to the University of Malaya's innovation open day to share achievements on construction technologies, hosted 45 faculty members and students from Heriot-Watt University for a field visit to the River Park Project, and organized academic exchange sessions for nine students from the University of Malaya at its Malaysia branch.
