Recently, young engineers from China and Central Asia visited the first phase of the Astana light rail project, for which CSCEC served as the main contractor. The visit was part of the 2026 China-Central Asia Young Engineers Exchange Event, held in Astana, Kazakhstan.

The event brought together more than 200 representatives from companies, universities, and young engineers from China and Central Asian countries. It was organized by the Chinese Society of Engineers and Kazakhstan's Central Asian Association for Accreditation of Education.

A young CSCEC engineer used the Astana light rail project as a case study to share the company's hands-on experience in infrastructure construction in Central Asia. Visiting engineers learned about the project's construction and current operations. They also held in-depth discussions with CSCEC's project engineers on rail transit construction and related engineering technologies.
