CSCEC recently wrapped up the first session of its C-star Workshop in Wuhan, Hubei Province. The event brought together 13 C-stars from six countries and seven team members of the workshop, including nine international delegates.

The workshop combined online and offline scenarios, including hands-on skills training, roundtable discussions, visits to CSCEC projects, and a study visit to an international forum. Delegates first spent three days in Beijing on in-person coursework, then went to Wuhan for the World Youth Development Forum 2026, and visited CSCEC project sites to shoot videos and produce content.

During roundtable discussions, 10 delegates dug into how central state-owned enterprises can build and promote the image of their overseas staff.

At the forum, delegates exchanged ideas with young participants from other countries, co-created videos together, and captured highlights of the event on camera.

Four groups visited CSCEC-built projects, including the North Branch Project of the Palace Museum, Yi'ai Lake Park in Huanggang, Hubei Province, Qianzishan Waste-to-Energy Power Plant in Wuhan, Construction Factory Test Center in Ezhou, Hubei Province, and a quality home laboratory. The groups produced four original videos. At the completion ceremony, each group took the stage to present its work and shared the thinking and takeaways behind it.
