Recently, CSCEC made history as the first Chinese enterprise to obtain Dubai's in-principle pre-approval permit for low-rise and mid-rise Modular Integrated Construction (MiC), awarded by Dubai Municipality.

Dubai Municipality's certification is a key requirement for concrete modular systems to enter the Dubai market.
Dubai's construction approval system has long been rooted in traditional concrete regulations with no prior precedent for full MiC mid-rise permanent buildings.
Faced with regulatory gaps and uncharted territory, the project team navigated USA standards and local Dubai Building Code (DBC), improving a complete set of structural calculations and a technical data system, and refining domestic MiC practices into Dubai-compliant technical documents. Through professional, practical and transparent communication, the team helped bring CSCEC's construction standards into closer alignment with international market requirements.
