As one of Singapore's earliest pioneers in BIM adoption, CSCEC established its first BIM team in 2014. Since then, BIM has been applied in over 40 projects, with each project supported by a dedicated BIM team responsible for modeling, technical coordination, and drawing production. CSCEC continues to expand BIM applications, evolving from BIM 2D/3D to BIM 4D/5D/6D.

Since 2016, CSCEC has won six BIM awards, including the Building and Construction Authority of Singapore (BCA) BIM Award (Platinum). CSCEC also contributed to the revised BCA's BIM handover technical guidelines. At the invitation of the BCA and Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA), CSCEC joined the POC working group for SGTraDex. CSCEC was also invited by building SMART Singapore to serve on the committee of the Digital Delivery Management Accreditation.
