CSCEC launched the Up We Build College (UWB College) in 2023—a global sustainable development action plan centered on vocational skills training—aiming to establish it in 30 countries and regions within five years, offering systematic, targeted, and forward looking training to empower talent, support local development, and drive sustainable growth in global construction. The Up We Build College, to be implemented worldwide through the "1+3+N" project implementation system, to build a platform of exchanging wisdom and technology promotion for various groups, such as CSCEC employees, university students, technical college trainees, corporate managers, and female engineers. It also features talent training and cultural exchange activities.
CSCEC Egypt established the first overseas UWB College in early 2020 as a public welfare education institution to enhance the skills of overseas industrial workers. A high-standard training base was built, adopting both the "mentor-apprentice" model and the "Egyptian-Chinese dual mentor system". As of December 2024, over 50 training sessions were conducted, more than 10,000 participants were trained.
Specialized Training Sessions: The UWB College annually conducts over 50 training sessions, covering several fields including project management, technical quality, laws and regulations, safety management, electromechanical installation, and Chinese and international construction culture— benefiting more than 2000 Egyptian and Chinese employees.
Practical Operation Base: At the practical operation base of the UWB College, both Egyptian and Chinese workers receive on-site training before joining the construction project. The program provides hands-on models for carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and steel work. The program aims to enhance workers' manual skills, familiarize them with their job responsibilities, and help them integrate more efficiently into the work environment.

Competency-based training model: Based on its course and training and practical exercises, the UWB College adopts an innovative and effective "mentor-apprentice" model and implements an "Egyptian-Chinese dual mentor system" to promote skill upgrades for management personnel and industrial workers. Through this process, a group of outstanding mentors and trainees has emerged. The company honors outstanding Egyptian and Chinese workers annually.
