Recently, the fifth anniversary celebration of the concession operation project for No.1 National Highway in the Republic of Congo was held in Brazzaville. Representatives from China, France, and the Republic of Congo, as well as subcontractors from LCR and others, totaling over a hundred attendees, were present.
The highway spans approximately 535 kilometers, linking the capital Brazzaville to the economic center Pointe-Noire, passing through the third-largest city in Congo (Brazzaville), Dolisie, and several other important towns along the route.
Since its official operation in March 2019, the highway has accumulated a total traffic volume of 14.1 million vehicles, significantly facilitating travel for over 3 million people residing along the highway. From construction to operation, the project has generated substantial employment opportunities, driving the development of communities along the route and promoting local socio-economic growth.
