CSCEC continues to support the development of transportation infrastructure in Kazakhstan, having undertaken multiple projects in the country.
Astana Light Rail Transit (LRT)
The project spans 22 kilometers, marking the first light rail line in Central Asia. This route connects key areas and popular attractions such as Nursultan Nazarbayev International Airport, Nazarbayev University, and the Expo park.
Kazakhstan KB national highway reconstruction project
The project involves the reconstruction of the Astana-Karakanda-Balkhash-Almaty section of the Kazakhstan South Corridor, a crucial route for the people of Astana, Kazakhstan's capital, to travel to Almaty. The highway passes through scenic areas such as such as the Bektau-Ata Mountains and Lake Balkhash.
Kazakhstan TKU road
The Kazakhstan TKU road, starting from Taldykorgan, passing through Karabatan, and extending to Ust-Kamenogorsk, is an international transit transportation corridor and tourism link connecting Europe, China, and other Asian countries. The route traverses scenic areas like Lake Alakol, the Katon-Karagay National Park, and the Kazakh Steppe.
