CSCEC recently won three iF Design Awards for 2024: the multi-functional smart pole received the award in the category of Product Design, while the smart bus station received awards in both the categories of Product Design and User Experience.
Multi-functional smart pole
The pole is designed with sustainability, modularity, and intelligence in mind, using minimalist lines and modular "branches" to convey the concept of urban development.
In terms of sustainable design, the lampshade of the pole adopts a leaf vein texture design, simulating the effect of "leaf photosynthesis" at the top, utilizing photovoltaic power generation to reduce electricity consumption, saving 50% of energy.
The horizontal bar can accommodate smart modules such as environmental monitoring, video surveillance, and Wi-Fi, supporting the development of smart cities.
Smart bus station
The bus station seamlessly integrates humanistic ideas with aesthetic design, featuring minimalist lines, slender roots, and large-area tops.
The station supports the use of LED screens, broadcasting, automated fans, and mobile phone charging, and other functions, promoting the intelligent development of urban transportation facilities.
