CSCEC recently completed the construction of a comprehensive particle research institute in the Guangming Science City in Shenzhen.
The project is a 7-story research complex, integrating research, library, achievement exhibition hall, academic activity rooms, administrative offices, and logistics rooms.
Adhering to the design concept of "sail of light", the project team cleverly integrated the building into the mountainous environment, complemented by light-colored stone facades, creating a sense of integration between technology and nature, highlighting a majestic scientific atmosphere.
Utilizing BIM technology, the project team considered the functions of each floor, pre-modeling various professional pipelines, facilitating smooth connection of various processes, and optimizing the construction period while ensuring quality.
As a green building, the project utilizes air-source heat pumps, saving over 450,000 kilowatt-hours of electricity annually and about 183.94 tons of standard coal.
