Recently, CSCEC successfully signed a contract with Freecity & Space Labs for the Herring Road Student Apartment in Australia.
The project is located in the heart of Macquarie Park, Sydney, often referred to as the "Silicon Valley of the Southern Hemisphere." It is just 100 meters from Macquarie University metro station and 200 meters from Macquarie Centre, making it highly accessible. The main scope of the project involves the construction of a 19-story student apartment building, approximately 63 meters high, with a total floor area of around 12,000 square meters. The project will consist of 565 modular units and is a pilot project for modular construction in New South Wales. It will also be Sydney's first high-rise modular building.
The design carefully integrates private living spaces with shared amenities, allowing residents to flexibly use workspaces, health facilities, shared kitchens, and social areas. Upon completion, the building will offer 528 rooms (508 standard rooms and 20 accessible units) and include parking areas for cars, motorcycles, and bicycles, catering to the diverse transportation needs of residents.
