Jingdezhen Imperial Kiln Museum

Jingdezhen Imperial Kiln Museum is formerly known as the world's only royal porcelain factory—Jingdezhen Imperial Kiln Plant, China's only ancient royal kiln factory site. With a building area of 10,400 square meters, it consists of eight poly curved reinforced concrete arches of different sizes and shapes. Its unique architectural style and construction features are similar to the original structure of Zhen Kiln of Jingdezhen in the Qing Dynasty.

During the construction, the ancient kiln site weighing 734 tons was relocated to somewhere 5 kilometers away for off-site conservation, which made it the world's first successful relocation of the world's largest kiln site. This not only shows respect for the history and culture of ceramics, but also serves as the inheritance of the excellent spiritual gene.

Shifu Garden Cultural Block in Weifang

As a building complex imitating the Ming and Qing Dynasty constructions, the block is built around the Shifu Garden, a key site under national-level protection. It follows the strict and elegant Jiangnan art style of the Ming Dynasty architecture, and involves the characteristics of the Qing Dynasty folk architecture like formation, specifications, and group sequences. With these features, it perfectly inherited the characteristics of the Shifu Garden.

The main entrance on the south side of the block adopts the traditional architectural style of the Qing Dynasty, with elements such as arch and wing angle used in the beams of the building. The overall style is simple but vigorous, highlighting the architectural characteristics of the dynasty. The entrance is connected to the folk market. With gray and white brick tiles and vermilion red walls and columns, it replicates the scenery of the market in the Qing Dynasty. The interior of the block inherits the northern garden style of the Shifu Garden, which is represented by bamboo and plum blossoms growing under the wall.
