Recently, the La Congolaise des Routes (LCR) organized an activity with the theme "wearing motorcycle helmets to reduce injuries". This activity was one of the series of events for the 12th African Road Safety Day.
The event included road safety campaigns and free vehicle inspections, helping people enhance safety awareness and recognize the importance of helmets and maintaining good driving habits. During the event, souvenirs such as T-shirts were distributed.
This event attracted more than 200 motorcycle riders to learn road safety knowledge and receive free vehicle inspections. Additionally, over 100 light vehicles underwent free inspections.
Since 2021, the LCR has actively participated in the African Road Safety Day for three consecutive years, conveying road safety awareness to the public through practical actions and contributing to maintaining a safe travel environment on the No. 1 National Highway in the Republic of the Congo.
Mainstream media outlets such as the Brazzaville Express News, Vox TV, and DRTV covered on the event.
