Recently, Chinese and Thai employees of CSCEC celebrated Loy Krathong, a traditional Thai festival. Loy Krathong is one of Thailand's most charming traditional festivals.
Before the event, Thai employees introduced the historical and cultural significance of Loy Krathong to their Chinese counterparts and taught how to make exquisite Krathongs using materials such as banana leaves, flowers, and candles.
The ritual of releasing Krathongs into the water symbolizes sending away troubles and misfortunes, ushering in new hopes and happiness.
CSCEC staff from various nationalities said, this event enhanced their understanding of the charm of Thai traditional culture and promoted cultural exchange and integration.
