Recently, a group of 17 international students from 10 countries—including Ethiopia, Algeria, Cambodia, Botswana, and Tanzania—visited Beijing Guoxianfu Phase II project developed and constructed by CSCEC.
The event focused on the concept of "quality homes " emphasizing safety, comfort, sustainability, and smart living. Through briefings, immersive site experiences, and in-depth discussions, students witnessed the seamless fusion of traditional Chinese residential philosophy with modern urban living technologies. The visit also offered international guests a firsthand encounter with the charm of Chinese traditional culture and the refined aesthetics of Eastern living.
"This is the first time I've seen traditional culture not just preserved in a museum, but actively incorporated into modern living spaces. That really moved me," said one student from Eritrea.
Another student from Ethiopia said, “This design philosophy that blends traditional culture with modern living offers valuable inspiration for our own country.”
