The SASEC Road Connectivity Project-II, located in the northwestern region of Bangladesh, spans 80.3 kilometers and connects 16 key towns northwest of Dhaka. This project plays a crucial role in improving local transportation and boosting the regional economy.
During construction, the project team meticulously planned and executed each phase with efficiency, utilizing concrete slipform pavers to lay the road surface, which significantly enhanced the road's strength and smoothness.

The project team conducted extensive training sessions, including over 50 skill workshops through platforms like the "UWB College" and "Workers' Night School." These efforts trained over 100 engineers and more than 800 technical personnel, creating approximately 35,000 local job opportunities. The project also integrated environmental protection measures, planting 13,500 square meters of grass to contribute to local environmental preservation.
Additionally, project volunteers provided community service by repairing water wells at nearby primary schools, celebrating birthdays with children at local orphanages, and donating school supplies and sports equipment such as backpacks, badminton, and soccer balls to the schools.
