Recently, Zhenis Kassymbek, Mayor of Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan, visited the Astana Light Rail Transit constructed by CSCEC.
During the visit to the project site, Mayor Kassymbek listened to the construction report and hoped that the project team would continue to endeavor to complete the project construction with high standards and efficiency, providing convenience for the local residents.
The project spans 22 kilometers, marking the first light rail line in Central Asia. This route connects key areas such as Nursultan Nazarbayev International Airport, Nazarbayev University, Abu Dhabi Plaza, and the Expo park.
Once the project is completed and operational, it will drive the upgrade of local transportation infrastructure, enhancing the commuting efficiency of Astana residents and stimulating local economic development.
