This is Iraq's Nasiriyah International Airport, a project teeming with hope. This airport will serve as one of Iraq's vital gateways, connecting it to the rest of the world. Egyptian engineer Ahmed has reaped friendships transcending national boundaries while working here.
P1: The airport is a 4E-class high-standard airport capable of accommodating large aircraft for takeoff and landing. Its main terminal design is inspired by the architecture of the ancient city of Ur, offering a blend of Iraq's historical and cultural heritage with modernity.
P2: Having worked with CSCEC for four years, Ahmed transitioned from a Egyptian project to the EPC project for the airport, amassing invaluable experience. He and his team have effectively employed advanced cement concrete slipforming machines, a new construction method, to enhance construction efficiency and reduce project duration.
P3: In the course of construction, Ahmed and Wanlin became close friends. As Wanlin was already part of the project team, he assisted Ahmed in acclimating to the project environment and the workflow. Ahmed, in return, helped Wanlin improve his Arabic language skills to enhance communication efficiency. Their mutual learning and collaboration have led to shared progress.
