The sections 14 to 16 of the Taldykorgan-Kalbatau-Ust-Kamenogorsk road (TKU) highway reconstruction project in Kazakhstan, built by CSCEC, has been officially completed and opened to traffic.

Located in southeastern Kazakhstan, the CSCEC-built sections spans approximately 102 kilometers, connecting Kalbatau and Ust-Kamenogorsk, and linking Abai and East Kazakhstan Regions. It is a key part of the regional economic corridor.

With the reconstruction, the design speed has increased from 80 km/h to 120 km/h, significantly improving transport capacity. The highway will enhance local travel, strengthen regional connectivity, and support economic and social development.
