Recently, the CSCEC-built King Salman Street Viaduct and Al Naseem Street Upgrade Project in Dubai successfully achieved full completion of its first-phase traffic diversion.
The first phase involved adjustments to eight signalized intersections, road widening, and utility works. The project team divided the overall diversion plan into eight zones, advancing systematically through 14 steps. Since June, through technical innovation and optimized planning, 30 temporary diversion roads have been built and nearly 100 nighttime diversions along community arterials organized, enabling structural works to commence two months ahead of schedule.
Following the diversion, the project team immediately completed the first concrete pouring for the flyover, reaching the first cast-in-place box girder milestone nearly five months earlier than planned.
