Recently, the office building of the new factory building at Thaiya project in Thailand, constructed by CSCEC, was topped out 53 days ahead of schedule. Representatives from the owner and the project management team attended the topping-out ceremony.
The office building, the only reinforced concrete structure among the five buildings on the site, has a total construction area of 2160 square meters. Faced with challenges such as insufficient personnel and construction during the rainy season, the project team developed a specialized construction schedule for the office building, optimized the construction process, adjusted the material transportation plan, ensured a unimpeded construction at each stage, achieved seamless coordination between various processes, and delivered high-quality performance at a speed of one floor every seven days. With this outstanding achievement of completing the topping-out 53 days ahead of schedule, the project team has provided a satisfactory outcome to the owner.
Located in the WHA Rayong 36 Industrial Estate (WHA R36) in Rayong Province, Thailand, the project covers an area of 180 mu, with a total construction area of 80,000 square meters. The first phase of the project undertaken by CSCEC has a construction area of 50,000 square meters, including all civil and electromechanical works for five individual buildings.
