Recently, CSCEC and the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) held a research seminar on key technologies for the China-Thailand high-speed railway.

During the seminar, the project leaders from AIT presented the progress of joint research in the areas of geotechnical engineering (GTE), structural engineering (SE), and overseas project management (OPM) since the inception of their cooperation. The participants engaged in in-depth discussions on the research outcomes and exchanged opinions on the direction of the joint research and areas for further cooperation in 2023.

Since its inception in 2021, the research has been driven by projects and actively collaborated with Thai universities to promote technological innovation in engineering practices. So far, the research has achieved several milestones, including 15 accepted patents, 11 issued patents, and 12 published papers.
