Recently, Rizhao Port oil wharf (phase III), which was built by CSCEC, was officially put into operation, successfully completing the oil transportation task of 1.6 million cubic meters. The project includes 16 crude oil storage tanks with a capacity of 100,000 cubic meters, 2 oil pipelines, public works and supporting facilities. After being put into operation, the annual turnover capacity of oil products in Rizhao Portwill reach 29 million tons. At the same time, the whole process service of port-pipeline-refinery will be realized, and a fast-track connecting economic and trade exchanges with South Korea, Central Asia and other countries and regions will be built.

As an important hub of BRI, Rizhao Port in Shandong Province is one of the important transit bases for energy and bulk raw materials in the world. It is the youngest port with a throughput of 400 million tons in the world, ranking 10th in the world.
