Recently, Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has successfully broken the Guinness World Record for “The Most Nationalities in A Construction Safety Lesson” supported by CSCEC ME Al Shindagha Corridor Project, and the Certificate Awards Ceremony was held on the Project site on July 13,  2021. Besides celebrating the success of winning the Guinness Record, RTA also confers the “Excellent HSE Performance” Award on Al Shindagha Corridor Project for the 7 Million Safe Man Hours without LTI, together with the “Certificate of Appreciation” from the project consultant company Parsons.

The event was attended by Mr. Hassan Mohammed Al Mutawa, Director of Operations from RTA, and accompanied by Mr. Noushad Mohammed Kannu, Sr. Health & Safety Specialist from RTA, Mr. Ahmed Kutty, Chief Safety Officer from the Consultant Company Parsons, Mr. Rabea Al Ani, Project Director from Parson, Mr. Wei Chuanhai, CSCEC ME President Assistant cum CID General Manager, Mr. Cheng Qianli, CSCEC ME CID Deputy General Manager cum Project Director, with other 40 related Staffs.

Al Shindagha Corridor Project applies the box girder precast segment assembling technique, and its construction activities include but not limited to bridge works, pavement structure, signing and road marking, street lighting, traffic systems, stormwater drainage system, diversion and protection of the existing services and demolishing and clearance of site obstructions. It has the characteristics of the largest quantity, the greatest technique difficulty, the tightest construction schedule, and the highest construction risks with a strategic location, which makes it a flagship of the project group in Shindagha Corridor. The improvements of the area shall vastly improve traffic conditions in Deira area and promote future development of Dubai Waterfront zone.
