Recently, the large-scale documentary "Remarkable Construction" jointly produced by China Media Group (CMG) and China State Construction Engineering Corporation(CSCEC) was launched. Taking "exploring the miracle in construction engineering" as the main line, the documentary tells the story of more than 21 landmarks of CSCEC. The series of articles CSCEC's Contribution to Remarkable Construction will be divided into two parts, which will lead you to start a journey of new landmarks in China. This part will focus on 11 landmarks.
The construction of Huoshenshan Hospital and Leishenshan Hospital completed only in 10 and 12 days
Huoshenshan Hospital and Leishenshan Hospital were built in only 10 days and 12 days respectively. The rapid construction speed of Huoshenshan Hospital and Leishenshan Hospital cannot be separated from the rapid gathering of more than 40,000 builders from all over the country, as well as 2,500 large-scale equipment and transport vehicles, more than 4,900 prefabricated houses, 200,000 square meters of impermeable membrane and other materials.
Although there are hundreds of subcontractors and thousands of construction processes, the builders of CSCEC have applied cutting-edge technologies such as building information model and smart construction to work together to ensure that the construction period is accurate to minutes. Dozens of advanced technologies, such as prefabricated construction, BIM intelligent construction and sewage treatment, are the strength of China's infrastructure construction.
The design and construction of oxygen supply, negative pressure, ventilation and sewage system in the two hospitals can convert general wards to ICUs for epidemic treatment". That is to say, the two hospitals can be used as general wards at ordinary times, and once an emergency happens, they can be quickly converted into treatment bases for infectious diseases.
600 meters high! The tallest office building in the world—Ping An International Finance Center
CSCEC-built Ping An International Financial Center is 600 meters tall. Eight huge piles, just like deep roots, extend from the underground to support the whole building. Known as the largest engineering piles in China, the eight piles can bear 600,000 tons of building weight, and the average bearing capacity of each pile exceeds 70,000 tons. The excavation depth of the building foundation pit is 33.8m, with the deepest point reaching 70m and the circumference of 544m. The construction of the project is as accurate as doing a surgery, because any mishap may threaten the safety of the subway under it.
The largest high-speed railway station in Asia—Xiong'an Railway Station
Built by CSCEC, Xiong'an railway station is the largest high-speed railway station in Asia. 400 giant steel beams span 78 meters in the station. In the 20,000-square-meter waiting hall, there is no support pillar, and all the loads depend on the scattering pillars of the platform, which reduces the steel consumption to the greatest extent and makes the best use of space.
World's largest color glazed glass roof—Daylighting roof of Dongan Lake Sports Park Stadium
CSCEC-built Dongan Lake Sports Park Stadium, which looks like a "flying saucer", is composed of 12,540 pieces of colored glazed glass. It has the world's largest color glazed glass daylighting roof and has formed the largest "Sun bird" shape in the world.
The stadium covers an area of 307,000 square meters, including 40,000 seats, a 400m standard warm-up venue and outdoor supporting facilities, with a total construction area of about 116,000 square meters. As a world-class cultural, sports and tourism center, it can not only undertake large-scale international and domestic sports events, but also meet the requirements of national fitness, sports training, large-scale performance, comprehensive exhibitions, tourism and so on.
The most complicated cable structure installation in the world—Nanchang Citizen Service Center
Nanchang Citizen Service Center, which is built by CSCEC, is the most complicated cable structure installation project in the world at present. A total of 8,255 pieces of glass with different specifications and sizes are used. Each piece of glass weighs thousands of pounds, so the installation is extremely complicated. In addition, the highly transparent laminated glasses with special treatment will not fall off even if they are broken. They will replace the traditional exterior walls of buildings to protect people from wind and rain.
Horizontal Skyscraper—Raffles City Chongqing
Raffles City Chongqing, built by CSCEC, is a new icon in Chongqing. The 100,000-ton-steel structure used in the building constitutes the framework of the whole building, which exceeds the material consumption of the two Bird Nests. At an altitude of 250 meters, the construction team has built the longest horizontal skyscraper in the world. It has an ultra-long landscape sky bridge which is 300 meters long.
The tallest building under construction in Chongqing—Chongqing International Trade and Commerce Center
Chongqing International Trade and Commerce Center, built by CSCEC, is the tallest building under construction in Chongqing, with a height of 458 meters and a steel structure consumption of 70,000 tons. During construction, nearly 40,000 large steel members of different sizes and shapes are used, which have brought huge welding workload. In the cross-sectional area less than 3 square meters, CSCEC have completed 30,000 meters of butt welds, the equivalent of four Mount Everests.
1,500-ton giant skyscraper-building machine builds one floor in three days
The Chengdu Greenland Tower, built by CSCEC, has a height of 468 meters, surpassing the Chengdu's TV tower, which is 339 meters.
In the construction, builders drive a 5-storey, 1,500-ton giant skyscraper-building machine to build one floor in three days. At a height of more than 300 meters, the machine will automatically climb 4.4 meters to reach the new working place.
It is the latest skyscraper-building machine, and an intelligent construction equipment integration platform for super high-rise buildings independently developed by CSCEC. For the first time in the world, the large-scale tower crane for skyscraper construction is directly integrated on the platform, which has integrated installation and climbing of tower crane.
The integrated platform has complete supporting facilities, sufficient working space and convenient transportation, and realizes efficient flow construction in multiple processes, such as construction survey, steel structure installation, steelbar binding, formwork support and concrete pouring. Compared with the traditional construction platform, the bearing capacity is increased by more than 3 times, and it can resist 14-level wind, and the work efficiency is increased by more than 20%.
The high-speed rail runs under the terminal building—Chengdu Tianfu International Airport
Chengdu Tianfu International Airport, designed and built by CSCEC, is the first three-dimensional transportation hub in Southwest China. Once it opens, the high-speed railway with a speed of 350 kilometers per hour will run under the terminal building, linking air transport and land transport seamlessly.
In order to enhance the anti-vibration ability of the airport, the builders installed 192 vibration isolators under the foundation. The vibration isolators can resolve 90% of the vibration in horizontal and vertical directions through the spring system, so that the vibration of taking off and landing of airplanes and the vibration of the high-speed rail do not interfere with each other, ensuring the safety of the two transportation system.
The tallest building in Suzhou—Suzhou International Financial Square
With a height of 450 meters and like a fish jumping out of water, Suzhou International Financial Square, is the tallest building in Jiangsu Province, a province with strong economy in China. Suzhou International Financial Square adopts the most economical water tank device in the world. A gravity water tank with a volume of 1300 cubic meters is placed on the top floor of the building, and the natural fluidity of liquid is used to stabilize the building amid strong winds.
The world's largest aviation hub—Daxing International Airport
Daxing International Airport is the largest airport in the world. Hundreds of thousands of workers participated in the construction, with the world's largest free-form steel grid, and its construction difficulty is also the biggest in the world.
Daxing International Airport has pioneered to build a parking & general service building of "zero-transfer" for air and land traffic, built the world's largest aviation catering center and the largest aviation logistics base, and opened an underground utility tunnel to provide water, electricity, gas and signals for the airport. It has also paved a viaduct to and from the airport, built the largest multi-energy complementary ground source heat pump system in China, and built an ecological water plant, showing the wisdom and strength of Chinese builders to the world.
