North Lantau Hospital Hong Kong Infection Control Centre (also known as Hong Kong Temporary Hospital)

The Hong Kong Temporary Hospital is the first hospital in Hong Kong with full negative pressure beds, the first hospital in Hong Kong with MiC method as a negative pressure ward, and the first hospital built in the form of an E-Hospital in Hong Kong. The project covers an area of about 30,000 square meters, with a construction area of about 44,000 square meters, providing 816 negative pressure isolation beds and supporting medical facilities. The planning of the hospital fully utilizes the design concept of modular hospital, which consists of six ward buildings, one medical center, one energy center, a medical gas terminal, a warehouse for hazardous products and a liquid oxygen station. The hospital has no operating room at the request of Hospital Authority, and has same settings as those of the infectious disease hospital.
