The construction speed of the main body of building, the tallest building in China, had set a new record of "building one floor in three days". Since thenthe "Shenzhen Speed" had become well-known both at home and abroad.The main structure of the slip-form construction of the building adopted the slip-form process, creating the "Shenzhen Speed" of building one floor in three days, and pushing the Chinese construction industry from a general high-rise to a super high-rise level. On September 4, 1984, Shenzhen International Trade Center was capped. After its completion, it became the earliest comprehensive multi-functional super high-rise building in China. It started construction in November 1982 and was put into use at the end of 1985, with a construction area of more than 100,000 square meters, 53 floors and a height of 160 meters. It was the tallest building in China back then.
