The engineering capacity building center in Cairo, Egypt, was recently inaugurated. Building upon the center's establishment, the Chinese Society of Engineers organized a specialized training workshop at Zhejiang University for a delegation of high-potential young engineers from Egypt. The program featured technical lectures, site visits, expert-led discussions, and hands-on workshops focusing on key domains including intelligent systems engineering, environmental engineering, and green building and energy-efficient technologies.

The program brought together more than 70 engineering professionals from Egypt and China. Fifteen outstanding young Egyptian engineers employed by CSCEC took part in the program. Among them were Hussein Emad (Mechanical Engineer), Basel Ehab (Mechanical HVAC Engineer), and Martin Aziz (Site Coordinator Engineer) from the CSCEC-built CBD project in New Administrative Capital in Egypt, each of whom delivered comprehensive technical presentations showcasing their project experience and engineering insights.

In addition, Egyptian engineers were invited to attend the World Young Scientist Summit 2025. During the summit, the Egyptian engineers participated in the opening ceremony and technical report-sharing sessions. They listened to young scientists and entrepreneurs from over 40 countries and regions, and 70 international tech organizations, who presented reports on cutting-edge scientific research. The engineers also engaged in discussions with international peers on topics such as sustainable development and technological innovation.
