CSCEC's business briefing from January to May in 2025 has been released. The total value of newly signed contracts reached 1,841.2 billion yuan, a 1.7% increase year-on-year.
In the construction sector, the value of newly signed contracts reached 1,710.8 billion yuan, a 2.2% increase year-on-year.
Specifically, the value of newly signed contracts in housing construction totaled 1,112 billion yuan, while that of infrastructure amounted to 593.9 billion yuan, representing a 16.2% year-on-year increase. The value of newly signed contracts in surveying and design reached 4.9 billion yuan.
The domestic market secured new contracts totaling 1,632.4 billion yuan, reflecting a 3.5% year-on-year growth, while overseas contracts accounted for 78.4 billion yuan in newly signed contracts.
In the real estate sector, contracted sales reached 130.4 billion yuan, with a contracted sales area of 4.55 million square meters. Land reserve at the end of the period reached 76.25 million square meters, including newly acquired land reserve of 2.71 million square meters.
