The Karonga Town Water Supply Project is located in Karonga Town, Malawi, and is a key livelihood project in Malawi. The project involves the upgrading and expansion of the water supply pipeline network, including the design and construction of water supply pipelines (including 160km of UPVC pipes and 30km of ductile iron pipes), water treatment plants, water storage tanks, pumping stations, distribution pipelines, as well as ancillary facilities such as office buildings and roads. During the construction process, the project provided many job opportunities for local residents. Once completed, it will improve local residents' access to clean water, enhance their quality of life, and further promote economic development in the northern region.
