Zhou Naixiang meets with Taisei’s chairman in Japan

Zhou Naixiang, chairman of China State Construction Engineering Corporation (CSCEC), met with Takashi Yamauchi, chairman of Taisei Corporation, in Japan on Nov. 18. The two parties pledged to push forward their cooperation into a new phase.

Zhou said Taisei Corporation is a top enterprise enjoying global recognition, and CSCEC considers Taisei one of its key partners. He said the two companies have forged a profound friendship and a solid foundation for cooperation.

Zhou said he hopes the two companies will work together to deliver their cooperation projects in other countries as soon as possible and further expand cooperation. He said he also hopes CSCEC can draw on the strengths of Taisei’s sophisticated management and capabilities of innovating technologies, as well as CSCEC’s rich experience in overseas markets and its localized resources to explore more foreign markets. 

The two parties should figure out more cooperation modes, promote cooperation on green buildings, prefabricated buildings, trade, investment and talent, and join hands to explore a path featuring sustainable development, Zhou added.

Yamauchi said the two companies have witnessed deepened exchanges and cooperation in recent years. He said he hopes the two parties can maintain exchanges of professionals and expand cooperation in third-party markets, join hands to bolster the sound development of CSCEC-Taisei Construction Ltd., to set an example for joint-ventures.

The two also held in-depth dialogues on implementing cooperation projects.

Representatives of CSCEC’s Planning and Management Department and Overseas Project Department, CSCEC International, and CSCEC-Taisei Construction Ltd. also attended the meeting.
