Recently, CSCEC hosted the Built Environment Skills, Safety & Innovation Day in Singapore. About 130 participants gathered to exchange ideas through research presentations, skills competitions, innovation showcases and interactive discussions, exploring new directions for talent development, intelligent construction, safety management and innovation in the building sector.
A CSCEC representative delivered a presentation on intelligent construction, aligning the group's intelligent construction action plan with local demand for the industry's transformation. He shared CSCEC's approach to advancing intelligent construction in Singapore, covering DfMA and industrialization, digitalization, and sustainability, while showcasing the company's latest innovations in Prefabricated Prefinished Volumetric Construction (PPVC) and APCS, robotic construction, and advanced BIM & IDD applications. He also highlighted the Whole-of-Government Virtual TOP process and promoted the adoption of CSCEC's C-SMART Platform and CMC Modules.

During the event, the company presented a safety skit entitled "Safety First, Always" to promote construction site safety practices and AED first-aid skills. Through this entertaining yet educational performance, the audience further strengthened their safety awareness and reinforced the principle of "Safety First."

The finals of the Built Environment Skills Competition was held during the event, featuring two categories: Skim Coat and Floor Tiling.

Following the competition, attendees visited the Robotics Exhibition Zone for a close-up experience of the company's intelligent construction technologies. The exhibition featured the Scanning Robot Dog, Drilling Robot, Floor Screeding Robot, Welding Robot, Robotic Wall System (ALC Panel Installation, Plastering, Skimming Coat and Painting), as well as the Smart Forklift Safety System. These intelligent solutions showcased the company's latest innovations in robotics and construction automation in recent years.

At the C-SMART Smart Site Management Platform and the First Aid Exhibition Zone, the attendees gained a deeper insight into the smart site management, the Whole-of-Government Virtual TOP, and construction site safety management. The exhibition sparked strong interest in digital transformation and intelligent construction.
The event concluded with the Skills Competition Award Presentation Ceremony.
