Founded in 1959, the IEM is Malaysia's most authoritative professional body for the engineering sector. Its annual awards recognize companies that drive industry innovation, deliver projects to a high standard, advance sustainable development, and contribute to engineering progress and improved livelihoods both in Malaysia and beyond.

On the technical front, CSCEC has developed core strengths in large-scale mechanical and electrical system integration, energy-efficient construction, and optimization for tropical climates. The company is increasingly delivering projects under an EPC+O model — covering engineering, procurement, construction, and operations — providing replicable and scalable experience for Malaysia's engineering sector.
