The Spring Festival is the warmest season of reunion for the Chinese people.

As families gather at home to welcome the Spring Festival, CSCECers around the world remain at project sites, working side by side with colleagues from different countries and regions. Amid tower cranes and city lights, they mark the festival in their own way, welcoming the new year together far from home.

The year 2026 is the Chinese Lunar Year of the Horse, a symbol of momentum, courage and progress. To mark the occasion, Chinese and international employees from CSCEC projects in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, Mongolia, the Philippines and other countries and regions jointly recorded a Spring Festival greeting video. Though separated by vast distances, time zones and languages, their messages came together in a single frame, conveying shared wishes and friendship.

From construction sites and desert cities to island projects, teams celebrated together and captured their own Spring Festival moments. While traditional family reunions were not possible, greetings were delivered through the camera, and cooperation on site fostered a sense of shared belonging. This cross-border companionship and dedication have become a distinctive and heartfelt expression of the holiday spirit.

In the year ahead, CSCEC will continue to work with global partners, telling the story of Chinese construction through professionalism and craftsmanship while contributing to a better quality of life.
