Recently, Hong Kong's first light public housing (LPH) project at Yau Pok Road in Yuen Long, which is built with MiC modules by CSCEC, was completed and handed over. The first batch of residents moved into their new homes.

The LPH project, as the first such project to be delivered in Hong Kong, is planned to operate for five years. It includes 1,767 one- or two-person units of 14 square meters and 389 three- or four-person units of 26 square meters. There are bus stops and minibus stops on both the north and south sides of the project. It takes only 15 minutes to reach the heart of Yuen Long, and there are two bus routes to the interchange stations in Sheung Shui and Tai Lam. For those living here, the accessibility of public transport makes commuting and daily life significantly easier.
