Recently, MD Abdul Malek, Project Director of the Local Government Engineering Department (LGED) of Bangladesh, visited the TEESTA Bridge project.
MD Abdul Malek conducted a thorough review of the bridge's construction progress, river management, and safety measures. He expressed hope that the project team would complete the construction tasks according to the planned schedule, contributing to the sustainable development of the local economy.
The TEESTA Bridge project is one of the largest bridges in terms of span, constructed by the LGED. Upon completion, it will eliminate the need for ferry transportation between the two banks, significantly improving transportation and economic conditions in the Gaibandha region.
