Recently, the 28th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP28) was opened in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Over the course of 13 days, representatives from business organizations, non-profit entities, academic institutions, and other institutions in 198 countries gathered at the Expo City Dubai to discuss topics such as climate change, food security, and public health.
Hosted by CSCEC, a side event titled "Contributions of Construction Companies in Sustainable Development" was successfully held in the China Pavilion of the COP28's side event in the blue zone. The event invited representatives from social organizations and enterprises worldwide to participate.
During this conference, CSCEC focused on the theme "CSCEC's Sustainable Development and Energy-saving Innovation in the Middle East". It organized thematic days covering the company's overall status, infrastructure, electromechanical business, the Saudi and Kuwaiti markets, and technological innovation. These sessions shared CSCEC's achievements in green construction and low-carbon technology. Additionally, CSCEC released its first sustainable development report for the Gulf region during the conference.
