The Chengdu Phoenix Mountain Football Stadium designed by CSCEC, was honored with the 2023 World Structural Award at the awards ceremony recently held in London by the Institution of Structural Engineers (IStrucE).

During the ceremony, representatives from CSCEC presented the Chengdu Phoenix Mountain Football Stadium, emphasizing the innovation in design and testing cable-dome structures, which received high praise from the panel of judges.

Founded in 1908, The Institution of Structural Engineers (IStrucE) stands as one of the world's largest and most influential associations of structural engineers. In 1968, the association inaugurated the Structural Awards, aiming to commend the most cutting-edge and outstanding engineering projects on a global scale. Over the past 50 years, award-winning projects have included globally renowned structures such as the Sydney Opera House and the Centre Pompidou in Paris.
