Recently, the safety check station of CNOOC's Kingfisher oil field project in Uganda, constructed by CSCEC, was successfully handed over, becoming the first unit out of ten of the project to pass the owner's acceptance. Representatives from the Petroleum Authority of Uganda and TotalEnergies SE, France, were invited to the ceremony, and the project gained praise from the owner and guests.
The project is located in Kingfisher in northwest Uganda, approximately 260 kilometers away from the capital, Kampala. Upon completion, it will significantly improve the supporting facilities of CNOOC in the local area. The project involves four sections of ground works in the oil field, and CSCEC was responsible for two of them.
