Prime Minister of Algeria visits the Mediterranean Athletes Village built by CSCEC

On October 4, Aïmene Benabderrahmane, Prime Minister and Minister of Finance of Algeria paid a visit to Oran, during which he inspected the Mediterranean Athlete Village undertaken by CSCEC.

After listening to the introduction of the project and checking the athletes' dormitories carefully, Prime Minister Benabderrahmane was satisfied with the early completion and the quality of the project.

Oran Mediterranean Athletes Village Project provides athletes with quasi-three-star dormitories with 4280 beds, transformed from 10,000 beds of Oran University out of 18,000. It also contains training halls, canteens, press centers, clinics and administrative buildings, with a total construction area of 234,000 square meters.

The Mediterranean Games (French: les Jeux Mediterranéens) is a regional comprehensive sports meeting among Asia, Africa and Europe, organized by the International Mediterranean Games Committee. It is the largest sports event in the Mediterranean coastal region, often referred to as the "Mediterranean Olympics". The Mediterranean Games was first held in 1951, and is held every four years, participated by countries around the Mediterranean Sea.
