The 14th Arabia Corporate Social Responsibility Awards Ceremony was held on 4th October 2021 at the Swissotel Al Murooj Dubai. CSCEC ME won the Arabia CSR Award in Construction Categoryis the first Chinese enterprise in the Awards history. Other Winners includes UAE Ministry of Economy, Dubai Police, Dubai Electricity & Water Authority (DEWA), Bank of Africa, Gulf Petrochemical Industries (GPIC), etc. CSCEC ME President & CEO Mr. Yu Tao, CSCEC ME Director of Executive General Office Mr. Yuan Bin and other representatives were present the event.

On behalf of CSCEC ME, Mr. Yu Tao received the award from H.E Eng. Sheikh Salem Bin Sultan Bin Saqr Al-Qasimi, Chairman of the Ras Al Khaimah Civil Aviation Department and member of the Executive Council of the Government of Ras Al Khaimah, together with Ms. Habiba Al Marashi, President of Arabia CSR Network, and the Co-Founder and Chairperson of Emirates Environment Group. Mr. Yu Tao said on the stage, CSCEC ME has been actively involved in the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Sustainability Programs and Awards, and the winning of this Award will encourage CSCEC ME to further improve in all the area of Sustainability and the CSR work.

Mr. Yu Tao was also invited to attend the 9thArabia CSR Forum“From 2020 to 2030 Post-pandemic Sustainability and Resilience” on 3rd October 2021,presenting on the panel of “Workers, Wellness & Welfare: Empowering Internal Stakeholder”, and discussed together with other four guests on the topics of the fulfillment of CSR, Staff Care, Pandemic Prevention, etc. Mr. Yu Tao expanded the topic on CSCEC ME’s good practices with lively examples and casessuch as COVID-19 prevention and protection,working and living standard improvement, Dietary hygiene and nutrition, Mental Health Protection, Salary and Welfares Guarantee, Career development, etc., showed all audiencestheCompany’s concept of people-centered management.

The Arabia CSR Awards is known as the Sustainability Benchmark of the Arab Region, with a reputation as the leading knowledge and recognition platform for CSR and sustainability across MENA Region. It was instituted in 2008 by Arabia CSR Network and under the patronage of UAE Ministry of Climate Change & Environment,andit is the most prestigious corporate social responsibility (CSR) and sustainability related accolade in the Arab region.
