Independently designed and built by CSCEC, the Shanghai Brilliant City Zero Carbon Building Exhibition Center is the first prefabricated zero-energy building in China.
The nearly 4,000-square-meter building is equipped with solar panels and PV curtain walls with optimal insulation materials to save energy. These solar panels can generate 124,000 kWh of electricity each year, which reduces carbon emissions by 52 tons. Renewable power replaces the original municipal power, achieving zero energy consumption.
